- Draft budget published including parking charges proposal
- £475,000 allocated for parking meters before consultation closes
- 22 December: Cabinet meeting where Cllr Slope makes “fairness” statement
- MPs Sarah Bool and Stuart Andrew present petitions with 8,500+ signatures
January 2026
- 13 January: Budget Question Time public meeting
- Brackley Town Council formally opposes the charges
- Campaign groups coordinate across all three affected towns
- FOI requests submitted to WNC seeking evidence base
- 15 January: This website launches
